BC SUMMER GAMES SOFTBALL BLOG- ZONE 5 GIRLS

This softball blog will deal with the ZONE 5 2008 BC SUMMER GAMES GIRLS SOFTBALL TEAM. The 2008 Games are being held in Kelowna. Please watch here for updates etc. The BC Summer Games Softball team is comprised of girls who play Softball from District 4 & 5 who join together as a team and travel to the BC Summer Games in Kelowna. Sport is central to all Games, and hundreds of kids throughout the province come together every second year to participate in the BC Games.

You can also read about our Surprise Coach, Alecia Stephenson, who spent 6 yrs with the Canadian National team (1991-1996)and was a member of the 1996 Canadian Olympic team. Alecia earned a 4 year softball scholarship at Sacred Heart University where she excelled as their number one shortstop!
